SHILLONGCongress MDC Ronnie Lyngdoh is irked at the unanswered queries set by the opposition members and accused the Executive Committee (EC) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) of attempting to conceal information.

Lyngdoh stood up after the first question during the question hour of the Budget session and pointed out that the opposition submitted 20-21 questions but only 12 questions were answered.

He asserted that the Executive Committee (EC) had been serious in replying to the queries raised by the opposition.

In this connection, he urged the CEM and Deputy CEM to look into the matter.

In this connection, Chairman of KHADC, PN Syiem said there were 20 questions and till date 12 questions were answered which is about 60 per cent, but maintained it was not satisfactory and the replies of the EC should be maximized.
