UDP ignores member’s exit

SHILLONG: The UDP has downplayed the shift in allegiance of its East Garo Hills working president to the Congress.
Sources in the party said the working president, Maham Singh Sangma, kept his distance from the UDP.
It may be mentioned that Sangma and his supporters are extending support to Congress MP candidate Mukul Sangma.
