Break-in at Dalu college

TURA: An attempted break-in was reported from Phukan Memorial College in the border town of Dalu in West Garo Hills district on Thursday in which the involvement of a local criminal is suspected. The break in allegedly took place after midnight on Wednesday with the criminal breaking the lock of the office and the temporary godown to try and get his hands on any valuable available.
“The thief broke both the locks and was looking for valuables when the noise alerted our watchman. He fled when the alarm was raised,” said college principal Dimseng Marak. A police FIR was filed with the Dalu police station.
