SHILLONG: Concerned over indiscriminate dumping of garbage in the locality, the FKJGP Madanriting unit along with the Dorbar Dong of Madanriting Lumjingsuk Block –A, has issued a warning against those throwing garbage haphazardly in the locality.
President of the unit, Wilfred Kharumnuid along with the other members said that the indiscriminate dumping is an environmental issue which is a threat to the society and the village as whole.
To check rampant disposal of garbage, the organisation has issued a notice that anyone who is found indulging in dumping of garbage indiscriminately will be dealt with as per the law of the Dorbar dong and shnong.
