Mawkyrwat: People residing within the jurisdiction of the Hima Nobosohphoh Syiemship in South West Khasi Hills, on Saturday, convened a meeting at Rangblang Pombriew Market with an aim to address various issues concerning the people under the Syiemship.
After deliberating on topics ranging from developmental to administrative issues under the Syiemship, the people of Hima Nobosohphoh formed the ‘Synjuk ki Khun – Hajar ka Hima Nobosohphoh Syiemship’ (SKH Hima Nobosohphoh Syiemship).
New office bearers were also elected comprising Edilbert Iawphniaw, chairman, Rescoman Ramsiej, vice chairman, Moonkingstar L Paliar, general secretary, Tranwosly K Jahrin, assistant secretary, Haribert Iawphniaw, publicity secretary including seven othere executive committee members.
