City schools bring glory with outstanding results

SHILLONG: Several prominent schools of the city have once again done well in the ICSE and ISC examinations results of which were declared on Tuesday.
Teachers from Pine Mount School informed that in ISC (Class 12) examinations, the school registered 100 per cent success while it is still awaiting results of the ICSE (Class 10) exams as these could not be downloaded on Tuesday due to technical errors. It may be mentioned that 58 students had appeared from the school for the ISC (Class 12) examinations. The principal of Loreto Convent School also informed that the results were very good and all the candidates got through in Class X exams while the highest mark secured was 95 per cent.
The Shillong Public School recorded 90 per cent pass percentage. Out of 30 students 27 came out with flying colours. Wansanlang Kharmalki topped with 91 per cent.
Meanwhile, BSF School, Shillong has once again shone with its exemplary result in CBSE Class X examinations registering 100 per cent success.
Sayak Chaudhury secured 1st position with 99 per cent marks while scoring 100 marks each in Mathematics and Social Studies. He topped in class X in Meghalaya.
Second position has been bagged by Sahid Ahmed Raja scoring 93.2 per cent and the third in the toppers list is Deepa Subedi with 92 per cent marks. Two students scored 100 marks in Social Studies.
Kuldeep Saini, Inspector General BSF Meghalaya Frontier felicitated the students.
Army Public School at Happy Valley recorded 100 per cent success in CBSE class X exams.
Out of 40 students, seven scored above 90 per cent with Nazifa Nazreen scoring the highest 95 per cent marks aggregate.
