AIFF grassroots leaders course

Shillong: The Meghalaya Football Association is hosting an ongoing All India Football Federation Grassroots Leaders Course at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex in Polo Ground, Shillong. The course began on Saturday and will conclude on Tuesday. A total of 21 coaches from Meghalaya and other North East states are undergoing training, led by AIFF Head of Grassroots and Instructor Anju Turambekar with assistance from MFA CEO Arki Nongrum. The four-day course is focusing on coaching methodology at various youth age groups and includes theory and practical sessions. Today the coaches had the chance to put what they have been learning into practice by running sessions with children from Unified Gorkha Football Club.
