Nongpoh: With an aim to intensify the nationwide effort to reduce child death due to diarrhoea, the office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Ri Bhoi District Nongpoh launched the Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) 2019 at Community Hall Mawlein village, Ri Bhoi on Wednesday.
The programme aimed at creating mass awareness about the most effective and low-cost diarrhoea treatment – a combination of Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) solution and Zinc tablets and also hygiene and sanitation.
