London: Actress Anne Hathaway has reportedly shortened her long brown locks for her role of a sex worker in the upcoming movie Les Miserables.
The 29-year-old was spotted outside the Soho nightclub, The Box, here with fiance, actor Adam Shulman, and a female friend and she covered her head with her hands to hide her new hairdo, reports people.com.
Starring alongside Australian actor Hugh Jackman, Hathaway plays Fantine, a single mother who sells her hair and turns to prostitution to feed her child. Russell Crowe also features in the film.
“I thought, ‘That looks like Anne Hathaway!’ but thought she was too skinny,” said a source. (IANS)
