SHILLONG: The Raid Laban Sports Social and Cultural Organisation has invited applications for the 16th Meritorious Award for Students, 2019.
The awards will be given for achievements in SSLC, HSSLC, ICSE, CBSE, ISC, Degree, PG Diploma. Students, who have excelled in their relevant examinations securing 1st Division and above, are eligible.
The award is also conferred on the differently-abled, underprivileged, poor dropouts and deserving successful students who have passed.
The application forms will be available at the office of the organisation — c/o Sanbor Shullai MLA (President) at New Kench’s Trace from 7am to 11 am.
Last date of submission of forms is August 10.
The toppers of all categories will be awarded with laptops. All meritorious students will also be awarded financial assistance in the form of fixed deposits to appreciate their achievements the award is only for students residing within 19th South Shillong constituency.
