State seeks PM’s support for hosting 2022 national games

SHILLONG: Apprising the Prime Minister of the upcoming 2022 National Games, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has urged support from the Centre.He informed that it is a historic year for the country as the country will celebrate 75th years of Independence while Meghalaya will turn 50. The chief minister urged for prime minister’s full support for hosting of National Games. It may be mentioned that the state has started the identification of sites in the state in preparation for the Games.
