US delegation discusses Act East policy at NEC

SHILLONG: As part of the Professional Fellows Programme Outbound 2019, a 12-member US delegation, visited the North Eastern Council (NEC) Secretariat on Wednesday and discussed about Act East Policy of the Centre.
The delegation interacted with Biman K Dutta, NEC member and Ram Muivah, NEC secretary including other officials of the NEC.
A statement by NEC said that as part of the exchange programme, the delegation discussed on issues pertaining to the Act East Policy of the Centre.
The delegation included members of the Greater Pheonix Economic Council, California State University, Philadelphia Department of Public Health, World Learning Washington, Takoma Park and the Office of the Legislative Counsel of Sacramento.
