SHILLONG: Tina Momin from Shillong won the Divalicious Mrs North East India 2019 in class age criteria recently through hard work and sincerity.
All the contestants had to attend a four-day grooming class in New Delhi before the grand finale which was judged by Arshi Khan of Big Boss fame and TV actress Soma Rathod, Momin said at a press conference here on Saturday.
Momin said that she is happy for the fact that she can be a role model for women who she feels should come out and exhibit their talent and confidence.
She stated that she is now preparing for the international beauty pageant event.
“It is very important for a married woman to balance the time between family and career”, she said.
In addition, she was also appointed as the state director for Meghalaya by the Divalicious Mrs. Universe Pvt Ltd and she will select the contestants and send them to upcoming pageants.
