Mid day meal
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply) West Jaintia Hills, has informed that Midday Meal Rice for Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools under Mid Day Meal Scheme for the month April, May, June will be distributed with effect from July 15 and will be delivered to the schools by the respective Fair Price Shop dealers free of cost.
Dry day
The additional deputy commissioner, East Jaintia Hills, has declared Dry Day in the entire district on July 22, on account of Tuber Behdeinkhlam festival. Therefore, all bonded warehouses, IMFL retailers, and bars shall remain closed on the mentioned date.
General meeting
The general meeting of the Shillong Socio-Cultural Assamese Students’ will be held on July 21 at Assam Club. All are invited.
