SHILLONG: Garo Union School defeated Shillong Public School by three wickets in the 7th I.P. Das Memorial & 4th Babu Ondromoni Dkhar Memorial Cricket tournament at Cricket Ground, Polo on Saturday. Shillong public School won the toss and elected to bat first. But the opposition bowlers were up to the task and restricted the batters to a modest 101 for the loss of 10 wickets in 20 overs. Banker top scored with 24 of 31 balls while Jengrang four wickets for nine runs of four overs. In reply, Garo Union reached the target in 14.3 overs losing seven wickets in the process. Advian took two wickets for Shillong Public School.
