SHILLONG: A day after the Manipur-based Khongsai Students’ Organisation (KSO) sought apology from her for blaming the Khongsai clan after the recent arrest of its members, who were involved in drug peddling, East Khasi Hills SP Claudia Lyngwa on Tuesday said that there was no intention on her part to hurt anybody’s sentiments.
She, however, said that coincidentally, all the persons arrested for the huge consignment of drugs belonged to the particular clan.
The KSO had said the SP’s statement had upset the Khongsai community and demanded an unconditional apology from the officer for making such a derogatory remark.
