NONGPOH: The Meghalaya Tourism Development Cooperation launched its official website to help tourists in availing information through online service especially online booking of hotels in the state. A log house of the tourism department in the programme held in Orchid Resort, Umiam on Friday.
The inauguration of the log house and the official website of the MTDC was launched by its Chairman Sanbor Shullai in the presence of Managing Director Cyril VD Diengdoh, Ricky Shullai, the Vice Chairman of the MTDC, Micheal Kharhunai one of the Directors of the MTDC among others.
Sanbor Shullai said that the launching of the official website will boost the economy and revenue of the tourism sector in the state and will surely benefit the tourist in availing first hand information for their visit to the state.
Managing Director of MTDC said that tourists and visitors can log into www.mtdcmeghalaya.com for help.
