NONGPOH: The acting Syiem of Hima Mylliem and the Dorbar Hima Mylliem has issued a notification removing Ioannis Narleng as Headman of Baridua village in Ri Bhoi.
Augustine Nongrum has been appointed the new acting Headman of Baridua village.
In the notification, it was also stated that any document signed and issued by Ioannis Narleng will be proclaimed illegal and that the public should visit the new acting Headman, Augustine Nongrum for all official purposes.
Further, the notification also ordered Ioannis Narleng to not be a part of the implementation of any government schemes in the village.
