NEHUSU to hold protest today

SHILLONG: The NEHU Students Union (NEHUSU) will organise a democratic agitation in protest against an attack on one of the members of the Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) NEHU unit members.
When contacted, NEHUSU advisor Rangdajied Marwein said that a black ribbon protest will be held on Monday morning followed by a candle light vigil at 5 pm.
An executive member of the council HYC NEHU unit was assaulted by 10 masked miscreants on Wednesday around 11 pm in his room at Kopili Hostel.
Following the assault, the HYC leaders met SP (City), S Rynjah and apprised him of what had happened.
