General meeting
The Meghalaya Limestone Truck Owners and Suppliers Association will hold its general meeting at Mylliem Marbaniang near Marbaniang Petrol Pump at 10am on Friday.
Environment Day Celebrations
The department of environmental science St Edmund’s College in collaboration with the NSS unit of the college will observe the world environment day on the theme ‘Green Economy-Does it include you?’ on Tuesday from 11am onwards commencing with an inter-college mass rally.
College Academic Society in association with Shillong College will organize a number of environment awareness programmes in collaboration with the State Council of Science, Technology and Environment (SCTE), overseas bank and state bank of India, Laitumkhrah. The inaugural function will be held at Shillong College premises on Tuesday at 10am.
World Environment Day
The Meghalaya Pra-desh Congress Committee will be holding a Tree Plantation Program at St Michael’s Higher Secondary School Umsning, Ri Bhoi District, to observe the World Environment Day on the 5th of June 2012 at 9.30 am.
