Shillong: Police have arrested one more person in connection with the looting of Rs 42 lakh from an employee of the Central Bank of India in Shillong recently. The arrested person — Bihari Sinha– is the proprietor of ‘Eastern Trade Centre’, a mobile sim retail outlet of Bishnupur. Sinha was arrested for selling a mobile sim cards to the gang which were used by the gang while committing the crime. It may be mentioned that the State police earlier arrested six people including a woman in this connection. The police also recovered Rs 33.44 lakh out of Rs 42 lakh.
