Forgery
Lumhermon Mylliempdah lodged a complaint that on November 25, unknown miscreant(s) sent him a letter (inviting tender) in the name of Health & Family Welfare Department, where the signature of the director is suspected to have been allegedly forged.

Fraud
Santosh Kumar Thakur of DGAR, Laitkor, lodged a complaint that on October 12, one Manjit Singh cheated him of Rs. 2,52,800 in a deal to purchase one Mahindra XUV (ML-08D-1672), which was advertised for sale on Facebook.
Rikynti Marweiñ lodged a complaint that in the month of March 2019, one Amos Pohktai cheated her of Rs 1,63,000 with a promise to arrange a canteen for her at All India Radio, Shillong.
Banrilang Wahlang, Proprietor of M/s BLW Wine Store, Bishop Cotton Road, 4th Furlong, lodged a complaint that the manager of her shop, viz. Rakesh Kumar Rahar misappropriated Rs 80 lakh approximately, meant for settlement of outstanding payment to bonded warehouses.
Subhas Chandra Mahanta of M/s Ferro Alloy Co., Rwiang, WKH, lodged a complaint that in the year 2013, the company entered into an agreement with one K John Robert Marweiñ and handed over two trucks (ML-06-6491 and ML-06-6492) to the latter to facilitate supply of coal to the company. As per the agreement, the trucks should be returned to the company on expiry of 18 months. However, Marweiñ failed to do so. When the company issued legal notice in the matter, Marweiñ allegedly produced faked receipts in the court, claiming that the trucks were returned to the company.

Theft
Satemmeren Imsong lodged a complaint that on December 6 around 6 pm, one Dereck Dkhar was caught red-handed during a theft attempt in the complainant’s house at Lumbasuk, Block-A, Nongthymmai.
On December 5, it was found that unknown miscreant(s) stole 19 AC machine copper pipes from PHE building at Lower Lachumiere.
A. Rongrin lodged a complaint that on the night of December 4, unknown miscreant(s) stole his truck (ML-05K-2294) from Umdang village, WKH.

Drug bust
On December 6, police arrested three persons, viz. Mary Helen Hmar (33 yrs) of Sawlad, Madanrting, Zakhol Kuki (64 yrs) and Thangkhokam Kuki (68 yrs), both of Madanrting, Block-E, and recovered/seized 33.23 grams of suspected heroin from their residential compound.
