Cleaning drive
The Dorbar Shnong, Nongmynsong will conduct a locality cleaning drive on December 12 from 8 am on wards.
Meeting
The general body meeting of the Dorbar Shnong Lummawbah, Upper Shillong will be held on December 12 at 8 am. At least one member from each household is requested to attend the meeting. During the meeting all shops in the locality shall be closed and passing of vehicle through the locality will be restricted since the venue of the meeting is the main Lummawbah Taxi Stand junction.
Campaign
The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority will launch a campaign ‘Opening Doors for Education to Children’ which is to be inaugurated on Wednesday by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma in the presence of Justice Mohammad Rafiq, Chief Justice of the High Court and Patron-in-Chief, MSLSA, Justice H.S. Thangkhiew and Executive Chairman, MSLSA and Justice W. Diengdoh in the Conference Hall of the Meghalaya High Court at 4 pm. The campaign is to bring back the school drop outs into schools.
