GUWAHATI: As the law and order situation in Assam is gradually improving and the state is coming back to normalcy, services of local passenger and Inter-city trains which had to be suspended to ensure safety and security of passengers, are gradually resumed, according to an railway communique.
However, train services between Guwahati and Kolkata were yet to be resumed.
The following local passenger and Intercity trains are running today as given below:
Down trains: 15670 Dimapur – Guwahati Nagaland Express, 15768 alipurduar Jn – Siliguri Intercity Express, 55802 Guwahati – New Bongaigaon passenger and 55804 Guwahati – Goalpara – New Bongaigaon passenger
Up trains: 12067 Guwahati –Jorhat Town Janshatabdi Express, 15816 Dekargaon – Kamakhya Express, 15769 Alipurduar Jn – Lumding Intercity Express, 15603 Guwahati – Ledo Intercity Express, 15605 Guwahati – Dibrugarh Intercity Express, 55985 Rangiya – Murkongselek passenger and 55803 New Bongaigaon – Goalpara – Guwahati passenger.
