As per the media reports, the outfit has been floated in Khasi-Jaintia Hills districts of the state by some surrendered HNLC members.

The State DGP N Ramachandran on Saturday said, “We have not come across any such reports but the police will keep a track.”

“The state police cannot comment on the speculative reports of media,” Ramachandran added.

According to reports, the outfit is being led by Joplang Lyngdoh as the chairman while Thrang Marwein and DL Sawkmie are the general and information secretary respectively.
