SHILLONG: The FKJGP Central Body on Friday asked the traffic police department to review the new traffic arrangement in Khyndailad.
The FKJGP pointed out that most of the drivers of vehicles are still confused and reluctant to follow the new traffic rule and to ply through the area due to the presence of pedestrians and hawkers along the way.
With board exams slated to start by February and March respectively, the new arrangement will cause more chaos on the road, assistant general secretary, Elton Cliff Warjri said in a statement.
As this may also result in students reaching their schools and exams centres late, he added.
