Govt revokes home-delivery of liquor

SHILLONG: The state government, in an order on Thursday, cancelled the home-delivery of liquor on health grounds in view of the reservations raised by the Indian Medical Association.
Earlier, the mater was heard in Kerala High Court where the medical association raised objection.
On March 30, the government had allowed home-delivery of liquor on health ground strictly with medical prescription issued by registered medical practitioners
