SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF)
on Friday presented three portable wash basins to the Dorbar Shnong of Madanrting.
In a statement issued here, the HNYF said that the water will be maintained by the water tanker association Madanrting daily while other requirements will be borne by the Dorbar Shnong.
The headman of Madanryting, Elvis Kharkongor, lauded the steps taken by the organisation to contain the spread of COVID-19, while directing the executive members of Madanrting to maintain the portable wash basins.
Meanwhile, the office secretary of the HNYF, Donbok Dkhar, requested the people of the state to maintain social distancing and to stay at home during the lockdown.
