NONGPOH: Local legislator of Nongpoh Constituency Mayralborn Syiem, while continuing his efforts to provide help to the underprivileged families, distributed rice to around 20 villages under the Raid Nongkhrah and Nonglyngdoh on Monday.
Syiem informed that the distribution of rice to the remaining villages in the constituency will continue in the days to come.
It may be mentioned that the MLA has been distributing relief to hundreds of villages in the past few weeks.
The Nongpoh legislator has also asked the chief minister to test the secondary contacts of Dr John L Sailo Ryntathiang at Bethany Hospital Outreach, Nongpoh, as well as the quarantine centre and residences in the district.
