Closure of IMFL
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and as a precautionary measure, the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Jaintia Hills district and West Jaintia Hills district magistrate has declared closure of all IMFL “ON” license with effect from May 1 upto May 15 in the two districts until further orders.
Condolence
The central executive council of Khasi Student’s Union has condoled the demise of their member, the president of KSU Lad Ryngud unit, Pynshai Buhphang who passed away on Tuesday. The CEC of the union has sent a condolence message to the family and said that his death is a huge loss not only to the family but the union as a whole.
