SHILLONG: The wholesale shops around Cantonment, Mawlong Hat, Paltan Bazar, Madanrting and Happy Valley markets will remain opened for stock lifting by identified retail traders on Monday and Tuesday between 9 am and 4 pm.
Informing this, the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills informed that on Monday stock lifting will be open for civil-sub divisions and community & rural development blocks of East Khasi Hills, East and West Jaintia Hills and their respective civil sub-divisions besides Ri Bhoi district.
On Tuesday, the wholesale shops under Shillong agglomeration and its adjoining areas will remain opened.
Registered suppliers and retailers selling livestock, poultry and pet feed will also open, the DC said while stressing on adhering to all norms related to COVID-19.
SK Oil, Chakki Mills
Also, listed SK Oil wholesale traders and Chakki Mills (wholemeal atta) of East Khasi Hills will open for lifting of stocks as per specified schedule.
