MAWKYRWAT: Mawkyrwat Police arrested a person from one village of Mawkyrwat for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl while the Ranikor Police are on the hunt to arrest another person who was accused of repeatedly raping his 16-year-old daughter and impregnating her.
Sources informed that the incident in Mawkyrwat area took place on June 14 where the accused raped the 11-year-old from the same village in his own house after luring her with mobile phones.
It was reported that he had later threatened her.
Meanwhile, in another heinous incident in one village under Ranikor Civil Sub-Division, one person had raped his own daughter several times.
According to the complaint filed by the mother of the victim, the 16-year-old daughter had apprised the mother of her ordeals, but was silent in order to avoid social stigma.
