NONGSTOIN: An employee of the Health Department in Rambrai, A Mawlong was arrested by the Nongstoin Police Station after an FIR against him was lodged by the KSU (Rambrai Circle).
The KSU (Rambrai Circle) alleged that Mawlong issued fake birth certificates and fitness certificates to people of the area for a sum of Rs 200/- to Rs 800/-. They also alleged that he had made fake seals of the doctors and also forged the signatures of the doctors to produce these certificates. They alleged that he had been continuing with this practice since 2006.
