The Dorbar Shnong of Laban has informed all vehicles owners within the jurisdiction of Laban to submit a copy of their registration certificate, type of vehicle and colour of vehicle to the office of the Laban Dorbar Shnong on or before July 31. At the same time the Dorbar informed all house owners, contractors and businessmen within the jurisdiction of Laban to submit the names of the tenants, domestic workers and labourers along with their photographs immediately to the office on or before the above mentioned date.
Water supply
The Executive Engineer of PHE, Greater Shillong Water Supply Division-I, S Lyngdoh has informed that the water supply to Zone-III which includes-Laitumkhrah, Nongrimbah, Upper and Lower New Colony, Upland Road, Nongrimmaw, etc and Zone-IV-Motinagar, Cleave Colony etc and Zone-V-Upper Nongthymmai, Lawjynriew, Pohksheh, Rynjah, Nongshilliang, Nongrim Hills etc under Phase-II of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme has resumed with effect from July 3 after completion of repair of the main pipe.
