NONGPOH: Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner has directed residents of Umiam, Nongsder, Mawpun Kshaid, Pyllun, Umeit, Umdohbyrthih, Umroi, Umktieh and Bhoirymbong, who had come in contact with the dealer of ‘Safeshop’ from June 29 to July 10, to undergo home quarantine for a 14-day period.
The DC has also advised the contacts to self-monitor their health while, at the same time, exhorted them to strictly adhere to government guidelines.
“During the period of quarantine, should any of the symptoms — fever, cough and difficulty in breathing — is developed, first isolate yourself and contact the District Control Room number 03638-232028/1077 and Health Help Line number 8787520449,” a statement on Wednesday said.
