TURA: The Federation for A·chik Freedom (FAF) Chokpot Regional Unit has expressed its dissatisfaction over Chokpot PHE Department for failure to supply water smoothly in Chokpot area, as a result of which the people are being faced with many hardships.
FAF said that the water scarcity problem is not a new problem that has cropped-up recently but it is a perennial problem that has been plaguing Chokpot area for years.
The Forum has also stated that, almost all the pipelines in the area are all a dried up and neglected lot, which is a clear indication that the Chokpot PHE Department is negligent of its duties and responsibilities towards supplying water to the people.
FAF further said that the SDO, PHE Chokpot hardly comes to the office and since the head of the Department is absent, the staff are neglecting their duties.

He also mentioned that most of the works are being left unfinished by contractors but the SDO and his staff failed to look into the matter.
