Khliehriat: The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District has decided to reopen the Office of the Superintendent of Police and the Khliehriat Police Station.
The DC has issued guidelines/ terms/ conditions stating that the staff working in these offices should not be from among contacts of positive COVID-19 cases. Besides, all protocols issued to prevent spread of the virus must be strictly followed by. Further, sharing of betels (kwai), tobacco products and eatables is strictly prohibited and shaking of hands or physical contact should be avoided by everyone.
