Shillong: The abduction of one Pinky Kumari (16) from Mandanriting Bazaar at around noon here on Wednesday faced a twist in tales with witnesses claiming that the girl was abducted while the girl’s father stated otherwise. Police informed that the incident was reported whereby witnesses have claimed that the girl was pulled inside a Maruti local taxi bearing registration number ML-05-5447 by unknown miscreants. Interestingly, according to the girl’s father, Kumari actually eloped with her lover.
