Book on Dominic Jala released

SHILLONG: A commemorative volume of edited works on the life of late Archbishop Dominic Jala was released on Friday by Fr. Paul Olphindro Lyngkot, SDB, Salesian Provincial, at Don Bosco Provincial House, Mawlai.
Giving a short description about the book entitled An Affable Pastor, Br MA Abraham, who co-edited the work with Fr Jose Varickasseril, said the sole purpose of publishing this book was to keep alive the memory of the late Archbishop.
Stating that the book opened the doors for all those who knew the late Archbishop, he said the book got its name from the affability of the father of Jala.
The volume is composed of a wide range of articles comprising of theological, philosophical, biblical, canonical, kerygmatic, catechetical, liturgical themes, et al. The in memoriam section contains inspiring impressions about the late Archbishop.
