Laloo bids adieu to SWKH

MAWKYRWAT: Outgoing South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, Isawanda Laloo, on Monday bid farewell to South West Khasi Hills during a gathering organised by the Officers’ Club, South West Khasi Hills, at the Multipurpose Hall, Laitlawsang in Mawkyrwat.
In her farewell address, Laloo expressed her gratitude to the officers for lending their support and cooperation at all times, especially during the pandemic.
Acknowledging them for their dedicated services, she said it was a privilege working together as a team towards the upliftment of the district.
Superintendent of Police, Maxwell B. Syiem, said that working under Laloo’s leadership has been a great experience. “Her absence will be felt by all. Wishing her success in the near future,” Syiem said.
BDO of Ranikor Block, LGM Kharmih, lamented her departure and said, “Losing a young and dynamic officer would be a huge loss for the district and Officers’ Club”.
