Nagaland signs MoU with Centre to set up medical college at Mon

GUWAHATI: Nagaland government is going to set up a new medical college and hospital at Mon in the frontier hill state and has signed an MoU with the central government in this regards.

The new medical college is likely to come up at the site where the Mod district hospital is located now.

Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom informed that  state government have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), GOI for establishment of a new Medical College at Mon. The Mou was signed on September 15.
