SHILLONG: The Khasi Hills Bazar Bus Association has petitioned the Chief Executive Officer of the Shillong Municipal Board, expressing their discontentment over the congestion and unhealthy environment in the Mawlonghat bus stand.
The Association also said that there is no proper parking space for Bazar and line bus while unauthorised shops in the parking lot have resulted in nuisance.
Stating that the toilet in the parking lot is like a “dustbin” and people managing it are only interested in collecting money, the Association has also asked the Municipal Board to regularly inspect the parking lot.
