TURA: The people of 25 villages of Rangsakona area and the A’king Nokmas of 14 villages, at a general meeting held at the Rangsakona Community Hall on Saturday constituted the Rangsakona Area People’s Forum to demand for a new Civil Sub-Division.
Secretary of the Rangsakona Area People’s Forum (RAPF), informed that the people of the area have decided to come under the banner of RAPF to demand for a new Civil Sub-Division with its headquarter at Rangsakona itself, after considering the necessity of the present state of affairs of the area.
At the meeting at least 6 A’king Nokmas had also willingly agreed to donate sufficient amount of land that would be required for the purpose.
