SHILLONG: The national observer of the NCP, Robert Kharshiing, has invited the leaders of prominent NGOs in the State for a meeting at his residence at Laitumkhrah on Friday to discuss various issues concerning the State which the NGOs had been raising from time to time.
Kharshiing, had recently said that if elected to power, the NGO leaders will be included in the Chief Minister’s Advisory Council.
“This is the first of a series of consultations that I propose to hold with all sections of the people of the State to build the roadmap for the future of Meghalaya,” Kharshiing said.
According to the NCP leader, the intention of the party is to usher in a totally new chapter in the history of the State to eradicate corruption, unemployment and injustices.
