SHILLONG: Rtn (Dr.) Yogesh Verma, District Governor, Rotary District 3240, accompanied by Rtn. Raaj Bangar, District Secy., visited Tura, Jowai and Shillong on their official Club Visit from September 4 to 7. During their stay at the various places, they visited the Community Projects undertaken by the three Rotary Clubs.
The District Governor inaugurated the Rotary Club of Shillong Projects of Sanitation & Clean Drinking Water at Demseiniong, Laitumkhrah on September 7. A special function was held to felicitate three children who had been successfully operated upon for their faulty hearts at New Delhi under the ‘Give of Life’ Scheme.
