 Meeting

 Export resumes

The export of limestone from Dawki which was disrupted for the last 15 days, has resumed from Saturday. The Chief Adviser of War Jaintia Limestone Miners Association, Dolly Khonglah said that export resumed due to the intervention of Forest Minister Prestone Tynsong and State forest officials.

 UN Session

The Meghalaya Peoples Human Rights Council Secretary General Dino D. G. Dympep will attend the 21st United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council month long regular session from September 10 and will also participate in the International Nelson Mandela Day to be held on September 21 at the invitation of the Government of South Africa to be held at the UN Headquarter in Geneva.
