Holiday declared
All state government offices and all revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions in East Khasi Hills shall remain close on September 18 on the account of Unitarian Anniversary Day.
Smugglers apprehended
BSF deployed in West Garo Hills on Saturday apprehended two Indian smugglers- Sona Miya (28) and Rakidul Islam on the border road while they were waiting to collect smuggled items from Bangladesh.
