Break-in
Dr KK Jhunjhunwala, Secy., Balika Hindi Vidyalaya Sec School, Keating Road, Shillong lodged a complaint that on October 25, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the midday meal kitchen of the school and stole some items.
Rodalin Thongni lodged a complaint that on November 7 around 3:30 am, one Winky Mawthoh (19) broke into her shop at Demthring, Shillong, and was caught red-handed by her family members while attempting to commit theft from the shop.

Theft bid
On November 5 at about 8.15 pm, one Arjun Bashel (18) was caught red-handed while attempting to commit theft from a building at Harisabha, Laban, Shillong and was handed over to Police.

Ganja seized
On October 30 around 7.25 pm, Police recovered some cannabis from the possession of one Matgrik Ch Marak at Dobasipara, WGH.

Assault
Benar John Marngar lodged a complaint that on October 26 at about 9 pm, his brother-in-law, viz. Donal Syiemlieh (36) assaulted his elder sister, and when the complainant attempted to intervene, the accused stabbed him with a knife, causing grievous injuries to him.
