Beyonce at a fundraiser hosted by her and Jay-Z in New York City, on Tuesday.

The couple held the event at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club where tickets costs 40,000 dollars per head.

According to Us magazine, while introducing the President, Beyonce said, “I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama, We believe in his vision.”

After taking the stage, the 51-year-old politician joked that wife Michelle Obama and their daughters Sasha, 11, and Malia, 14, were “mad at me because they aren’t here.”

“To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship,” he said.

“Beyonce could not be a better role model for my girls,” he added. (ANI)
