Assault
On the night of November 30, Rohit Chettri was assaulted by a person identified as one Ratan with a Khasi knife. As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong for treatment. Matter is under enquiry.

Coke truck detected
On November 30, around 9 am, police detected one truck (AS-01-KC-6799) at 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong. During inquiry, truck was found loaded with coke and the driver fled away.

Theft at MTC office
Alwyn Nonglyer of Madanrting Lumjingsuk Block-A lodged a complaint that on December 1, around 8 pm, he found out that miscreant(s) broke into the ticket counter at MTC Office in Police Bazar and stole one metal box containing tickets and official documents.

Water pumps stolen
K Rymbai, Manager, Eri Seed Farm, Kdiap village IN West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on December 1 morning, two water pumps worth Rs 7,50,000 were found stolen by miscreant(s) from the farm.

Scooty stolen
Paul Kharmujai of Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC), Police Bazar, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on November 30, miscreant(s) stole his scooty (ML-05R-3094), which was parked at his residence.

Car tape missing
Teiborlang Chyne of Nongmensong Umkdait, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on November 28, around 5.58 am, one Megan Iawphniaw (19) broke into his vehicle (WB-02-2925) parked inside the compound and stole one Sony car tape valued around Rs 6,640.
